Accounting Manager

United is the fastest growing private security firm in SoCal and is looking for an inspired and experienced Accounting Manager. This is a full time and will be at our corporate office in Corona.

The main role of an accounting manager developing budgets, legal compliance, tracking budget expenses, SFAS rules, accounting, managing processes, reporting research results, management proficiency, coordination, attention to details,managing processes, people management, data entry, compensation and wage structure, benefits administration, worker compensation, employment law, developing standards, financial skills. The duties and responsibilities of this position require not only a skill working with numbers, but also attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills. Candidates with a background in accounting or those who have taken relevant college-level courses are highly favored.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

-Maintains payroll information by designing systems; directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data.
-Preparing Biweekly and Monthly bills/invoices
-Becoming Familiar with Product and Service Descriptions
-Collect on Accounts; sending bill reminders and communications with customers via phone, email, fax, or mail.
-Recording payments
-Reconcile the accounts Receivable Ledger
-Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
-Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
-Pays employees by directing the production and issuance of paychecks or electronic transfers to bank accounts.
This position will also require assistance to our day to day operations; including but not limited to, receptionist work and assisting Operations Department.

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company.
• 3 Years in Accounting Experience
• Must have QuickBooks software knowledge
