:Position title: Full:time Behavior Consultant
:Job description: Behavior consultants supervise programs for individuals we serve, either in:home, at a CBS Center, or in school settings. Behavior consultants also provide parent training, perform functional behavioral assessments (FBAs), ensure program development and progression, write reports, and supervise and train behavior technicians.
:Work hours: 40 per week. Behavior consultants hours may vary depending on their assigned clients. Behavior consultants work days also vary, depending on organizational and client needs.
:Minimum qualifications: Preferably a masters degree in psychology, education, or a related field. Applicants must be board certified behavior analysts (BCBAs), or have experience and coursework in ABA and be on track to take the BCBA exam. However, we are also looking for applicants with at least one year of behavior technician experience who are enrolled in ABA coursework.
:Positions supervised: Behavior technicians.
:Amount/type of supervision provided: Behavior consultants provide face:to:face, 1:1 in:field supervision to behavior technicians on a daily basis.
:Position reports to: Director, assistant directors, and clinical managers.
:Compensation: Pay rate varies depending upon qualifications. Starting salary for BCBA:level consultants is 70,000 as of January, 2018. Benefits include paid vacation and sick leave, health and dental insurance, as well as 401K enrollment.
