Home Chef is a fast:growing Chicago startup founded in 2013. We are a subscription service that delivers fresh ingredients and recipes to our customers on a weekly basis. Our objective is to simplify and improve cooking so our customers both save time and cook better food. We have a team of talented, hard:working, and friendly people committed to success We are currently searching for a Recruiter/HR Coordinator. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a rapidly expanding company. Requirements The Recruiters primary duty is to assist our search for top talent for our entry:level and salaried positions. + Assist in managing relationships with universities and use social media to connect with and hire the most talented candidates available. + Recruit active and passive candidates from various resources, including campus activities, Internet job boards, and social media and employee referrals. + Assist Lithonia location in the hiring process for open positions, including interviewing and screening applicants. + Participate in job fairs, presentations and various on:campus/local community recruiting activities as needed. + Develop strategies that promote Home Chef in the community to attract driven and successful professionals. + Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all candidate communications + Screen potential candidates to bring in for interviews. + Conduct interviews and research best practice techniques for making hires. + Follow up on interviewees, including making offers to those selected for hire. + Train and conduct orientation for all new hires; Lead on:boarding process for new hires. + Other Duties as assigned. Qualifications: + Associates degree from an accredited college/university preferred or equivalent work experience. Previous experience recruiting for manufacturing industry preferred. + Proficient in MS Office Applications; including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Bi:Lingual (Spanish) is a plus + Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills + Detail oriented with a focus on quality results/deliverables + Ability to thrive in a fast:paced, high calibre and dynamic environment + Good organizational skills and time management.
