Overview: CO:OP Financial Services is currently looking for a Manager, HR Systems and Self:Service Operations in our Human Resources department. This position is located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The Manager, HR Systems and Self:Service Operations will focus on the consistent delivery of the employee experience and policy interpretation. Responsible for spearheading self:service initiatives and continued reduction of manual HR transactions through the maintenance, support, and improvements of all Human Resources Management Systems. Leads and manages a team of HR services staff for the delivery of high quality administrative, service and transactional HR support. What Your Day Will Look Like: + Maintain, audit, and validate all HRMS data to maintain data integrity and security. + Analyze data flow for process improvement and recommend solutions to improve efficiencies. + Identify opportunities for policy evolution and ensure consistent policy interpretation and application. + Regularly report on HR process improvement opportunities and track the implementation of these improvements against employee/manager experience metrics. + Assist with HRMS reporting and data analytics. + Provide end user training and support of HR systems. + Ensure proper maintenance/management of employee and department files. + Collaborate with other HR Management by leveraging HR expertise to improve business results, and meet objectives. + Lead technical HRMS implementations and upgrades. + Facilitate data conversion process when importing or exporting data to/from other databases and systems; work with vendors to ensure proper sequence of upstream and downstream interfaces. + Identify, write, and implement HRMS:related policies and guidelines. + May have responsibility in Employee Relations, Benefits, Compensation, and Organizational/Employee Development when needed. + Manage the HR services group; responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these employees. Other supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training this staff. + Manage and oversee administration of HR systems including managing relationships with HRMS vendors. + Effective project management, organizational skills, time management and communication skills. + Problem:solving skills are essential; must be able to identify and resolve any problems that arise with the HRIS systems. + Manage HR operating budget. Qualifications: This position requires three to five years hands:on HRIS experience with proven leadership work in HR systems, HRIS design and implementation techniques, and HRIS practices/methods along with organizing and improving business processes to achieve higher operational performance and improved delivery of services. Two years supervisory experience. High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Technology, or related field preferred. To perform this job successfully, the Manager, HR Systems and Self:Service Operations must have familiarity with and understanding of HRIS management, database design, architecture, functions, processes and tools along with knowledge of employment laws and legal requirements. The individual must have a strong understanding of tactical execution of HR processes, data, and workflows as well as and knowledge of various HR metrics. We are looking for someone with advanced proficiency with MS Office including Access; proficient in use of relational databases preferred. Must be able to work independently and in a team environment with strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to communicate technical material to non:technical users. The Manager must have strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy, have the ability to think creatively about new solutions and must be able to effectively train others.
