Visit for more information.The Rehabilitation Services Office Coordinator provides administrative clerical support to the Rehabilitation Services Director and the clinical departments of Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy in order to facilitate delivery of healthcare services. The Office Coordinator performs office systems functions such as planning, organizing, directing, monitoring, evaluating and modifying all administrative clerical processes of the Rehabilitation Services to include outpatient billing for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy, gathering statistics for bi:weekly and monthly reports for the Director of Rehabilitation Services and Accounting. Duties further include Inputting daily productivity in the monitoring system, patient scheduling, copying records for subpoenas, typing Medi:Cal TAR forms and necessary duties accordingly. In the absence of the Staffing/Insurance Authorization Coordinator, pulls in:patient orders and assigns to the appropriate therapists for treatments. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Centers strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.Requirements: Five years related experience. Some college preferred. Minimum secretarial training. Ability to utilize HBO system; Proficient with Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
