This person has multiple responsibilities including the daily staffing of the Rehabilitation Services Department, coordinating staffing adjustments according to the acuity and performance of related clerical duties, under the guidance of the Rehabilitation Services Director; coordinating the authorization process for outpatient center patients; updating a computerized master list of inpatient patients. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Centers strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities. Requirements: Minimum of one year clerical experience in an acute care facility and outpatient center services. Experience as a Staffing/Insurance Coordinator preferred. Previous clerical and rehabilitation background desirable
