Job Description:/h3:
SUMMARY: The Manager of Medical Affairs will partner with Clinical Development and Medical Affairs leadership team to provide operational support to all global medical activities. Additionally, the Manager may assist in supporting execution of clinical development strategy.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implementation of Post:Market/Phase IV Studies
Development and execution of Post:Market/Phase IV plan for key brands, which includes (but not limited to):
:Development and implementation of clinical studies
:Development of publications and abstracts
:Working with KOLs to generate data
:Development of presentations during major scientific/medical congresses
:Management of scientific advisory boards
:Act as scientific expert in review of promotional materials
Manage key stakeholders that will implement and execute post:market study/Phase IV plans

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
:Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
:Strong time and project management skills with attention to detail and the ability to plan and prioritize work and balance multiple projects.
:Functions well in a dynamic environment
:Detailed knowledge of US and global ICH and GCP
:Strong critical and logical thinking with ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions and implement recommendations for resolution.
:Ability to utilize
scientific/technical information to ensure documents produced are consistently accurate and complete.
:Self:motivated, takes ownership of a given assignment, proactively consulting other project team members and other department representatives for information or guidance, as necessary.
:Proficient in pertinent software and tools.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
:Minimum of Bachelors degree. Advanced degree preferred (e.g., Masters, PharmD, OD, PhD, or MD).
:Minimum 5 years of medical affairs (preferred) and/or clinical affairs experience
:Experience in Ophthalmology, preferably medical device experience and/or glaucoma
:Ability to travel up to 50 of the time, both US and InternationalCompany Description:/h3:
