Our Sales Assistant position involves a number of activities, which take place in various phases of the court system. All Sales Assistant Candidates must have the skills and sense of responsibility required to successfully execute Bail Bonds.
Duties:
:Meet with potential clients to explain our products and assist with completing applications
:Successfully process, execute and close potential Bail Leads in order to increase our customer base.
:Maintain accurate record and office files of executed bail bonds.
:Record all liens on collateral within 24 hours of posting bond.
:Ensure bail bond paperwork is returned to the main office within 72 hours of execution.
:Contribute to the Office Premium and Collateral collections efforts on Executed Bonds
:Gather Marketing Statistical Data from Courts and Jails in the surrounding area.
:Attend all Corporate office functions
:Visit Courts and Jails to prospect potential clients as well as help locate clients who fail to return to court.
:Strictly follow the underwriting guidelines from the main office provided by the main office, and strongly encourage all team member to also comply
:Be aware and proactive in mitigating the risk of any bonds that may not be healthy
:Maintain the ability to situationally access the reliability of information provided by any potential clients.
:Maintain a healthy relationship with all judicial, legal, corrections, and law enforcement agencies in the area.
Requirements:
:The candidate must obtain, and keep current a Resident Department of Insurance Property / Casualty Limited Lines License for Fidelity / Surety Insurance.
:Must maintain a notary commission, as well as have a valid drivers license.
:Must maintain a personal vehicle.
:Must maintain an open and flexible schedule to allow posting bail bonds as needed.
Education:
:Bachelors degree or work experience equivalent recommended.
:Police, Insurance Sales, or Court related experience recommended.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Complete the required license class for limited lines property and casualty insurance license.
Successfully passed the States Insurance Services licensing test.
Obtained an Insurance Property / Casualty Limited Lines License for Fidelity / Surety Insurance.
Usually training for general procedures and underwriting training will be provided by the bail bond agency
Business attire is required when meeting with clients and while visiting the courts or jails. The Sales Assistant will work closely with the underwriters, manager, and agency to resolve any problems. A cell phone is required. Must respond to phone calls in a timely manner. Must be on call 24 hours a day and 7 days a week
