ACT I has been providing solutions for high profile military programs such as the U.S. Navys and the U.S. Air Forces Joint Strike Fighter F:35, the U.S. Navys F:18, EA:18G and F:16N Aggressor, and the U.S. Air Forces F:22 Raptor since 1998. We are a Small Business DoD Prime Contractor on seeking candidates to provide equipment sustainment support to the Distribution Management Center (DMC) Albany GA and Barstow CA. Period of Performance : 1 Sep 2017 through 31 Aug 2020 Place of Performance : MCLB Barstow, CA and MCLB Albany, GA Candidates will provide support to MARCORLOGCOM : equipment sustainment support to the Distribution Management Center (DMC) Albany GA and Barstow CA. Support tasks to include specialized equipment sustainment including Care of Supplies in Stores (COSIS) of component managed and completion support for designated commodity families of Ground Weapon System equipment sets; logistics support and technical advice to the Storage Operations Department (SOD), DMC, with priority of focus on inventory accuracy, equipment completeness, proper condition coding, and readiness for issue of the GWS equipment sets. The types of equipment that will require this support include but are not limited to:: High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) all variants: Amphibious Assault Vehicles (AAV): Motor Transport Equipment all variants: Mine Resistant Armored Protected Vehicle (MRAP) CATs I, II, III: Light Armored Vehicle (LAV) all variants: Engineering Equipment, Tactical; Graders, Dirt Pans, Backhoes, Dozers, Forklifts, Mobile Generators, Environmental Control Units, Fuel/Water Systems: Decontamination Units: Communications and Electronics equipment: Small Arms/Infantry Weapons: Class IX repair parts and equipment associated with the equipment listed above This position is contingent upon Task Order award. Equipment Identification and Inventory: The candidate shall assist in the identification, physical inventory and accountability of equipment. Specific actions include:A: Identification of specified A?EA? TAMCNS (e.g. 7.62MM automatic weapons, M9 Rifles, 9mm postols, etc.) Small Arms ranging from 9MM:81MM in size.A: Detailed knowledge of each type of equipment is not required but direct contact with appropriate PM personnel requires understanding of the A?EA? TAMCNS family of equipment types in order to properly identify assets.A: At DMCs direction, physical inventories shall be conducted to ensure accurate accountability is maintained and that inventory results are provided for input into Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS). Condition Code Assignment. The candidate shall assist DMC in performing equipment inspections and assign condition codes in accordance with DMC guidance. Additionally, the corrected or newly assigned condition code information shall be provided for input into DPAS. Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS). The candidate shall assist DMC in the performance of COSIS of specified A?EA? TAMCNS of equipment. This shall entail preservation and surveillance of equipment in strict compliance to MilStd 3000B and guidelines provided by DMC. Additionally, the candidate shall communicate any insight into perfecting the preservation and surveillance of specific equipment or such practices that prevent degradation of preservation and enhance surveillance procedures identified in the guidelines. Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs. The candidate shall assist DMC in performing preventative maintenance and limited technical inspections in compliance with 1st and limited 2d echelon maintenance as prescribed by applicable Marine Corps Orders. This shall entail troubleshooting to determine extent of defect, identify repair parts required to restore back to original condition code and replace new repair parts.
