Job Description:/h3:
The Service Technician will provide expert, on:site service support for our customers, including problem diagnosis, analysis, and repair services; installation support; product and system installation services; and technical instruction. Responsibilities also include delivery of comprehensive system maintenance, update and upgrade services.
This position is located in the Los Angeles, CA area and may require frequent travel to locations throughout the western US territory. The list of duties and responsibilities is not all:inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary.
Travel is anticipated to be approximately 80 within territory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
:Provide expert on:site service support including problem diagnosis, analysis, and repair services; continuously seeking opportunities to help customers achieve their goals and providing recommendations for doing so.
:Provide installation support, and product and system installation services.
:Responsibilities may include Telephone Technical Support and Remote Monitoring Services, as directed by the Region Service Manager.
:Assume ownership of customer issues and follow through until issues are resolved.
:Maintain appropriate levels of communication with the customer to insure that the customer is well:informed before, during and after service engagements.
:Insure that services are provided in the time frame promised to the customer, and that the quality and completeness of work performed meets or exceeds the expectations of the customer.
:Optimize customer satisfaction and preference for RF Technologies products and services.
:Maintain high standards of professional conduct and ethical behavior in compliance with Company Standards and Policies, and governing Local, State and Federal Law.
:Provide feedback on product, installation and service quality issues.
:Provide input on product functionality requirements including suggestions for new product development, product improvements and new business opportunities.
:Provide technical instruction on the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Safety, Security and Asset Location products and system solutions provided by RF Technologies.
:Provide User Application Training on proper use of Safety, Security and Asset Location products and system solutions provided by RF Technologies.
:Provide mentoring for development of RF Service and Solutions technical personnel.
:Assist RF Service and Solutions management with the development of proposals for time and materials services, system updates and upgrades, and Service Agreements.
:The Service Technician is responsible for delivery of RF Technologies Service Agreement deliverables. This includes timely scheduling and execution of deliverables per the terms of the Service Agreement; cost:efficient management of service delivery; quality management of service delivery; and thorough and timely generation and delivery of reports required by the terms of the Service Agreement.
:The Service Technician is responsible for implementation of RF Technologies safety and security system updates and upgrades. This includes the development of bills of materials and ordering of required parts and materials; project and subcontractor management; update/upgrade implementation; update/upgrade testing, validation and certification; and quality management.
:Responsibilities include the development of application notes, technical bulletins, and support tools to improve service delivery quality and operational efficiencies, leading to enhancement of customer satisfaction, and growth of service revenue and profit.
:Responsible for accurate completion, timely submittal and archival of required service documentation, as required by Policy and Work Instruction. This includes, but is not limited to, Time and Expense Reports; Job Forms; Trip Reports; Drawing Updates/As:Installed Drawings;
